Review: Fanimation Caruso Ceiling Fans

The Fanimation Caruso is a versatile tropical ceiling fan. One sturdy downrod supports not one, but two ceiling fan motors that each power their own set of blades. The reason why the Caruso is so versatile is because it can cool an environment in almost any direction and at most angles. The Fanimation Caruso can be configured to hang its blades either vertical with the ground, at a 15 degree angle from the downrod, at a 30 degree angle, at a 45 degree angle or even at a 60 degree angle. At a 60 degree angle the fan blades are almost horizontal with the ground. This ceiling fan has a very unique look that adds character to an environment that would otherwise be bland. Although, the actual styling and finish of the fan is classical, making it not out of place in more conservative environments, unlike the Fanimation Enigma.
The Caruso comes in either an antique brass, oil-rubbed bronze, or pewter finish and can adorn many of Fanimation’s custom blade sets and lighting. This ceiling fan comes with powerful twin 188 x 25 motors with two forward and reverse speeds that are supported by limited lifetime warranties. The Fanimation Caruso has a 15 degree blade pitch and requires a minimum ceiling height of 12 feet with the provided 24 inch downrod. Prices for the Caruso typically range between $800 and $1000 depending upon selected options. The following is CeilingFantasia.com’s review of the Fanimation Caruso:
